About us |

Steve Rice established Blooming Good Gardens in 1996 after studying horticulture and then garden design at Sparsholt College, Hampshire. Winning the Top Student award for both of his courses, Steve went on to achieve fourteen successful years in designing and building gardens. This landscaping experience gives him the advantage of practical understanding in using materials, building structures, selecting plants and how to overcome problems. He now concentrates on all aspects of design for domestic, commercial and public spaces. Steve is a Member of the Institute of Horticulture and a Pre-Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers. Click on the links at the right to find out more about these professional bodies. Steve prides himself on creating beautiful and practical gardens - paying close attention to your needs to ensure that the garden is true to your requirements and fits well with your property and its surroundings - whether formal or informal, modern and contemporary, or more traditionally-styled.
